Los Verdes Celebrates Pride Month 2020

Los Verdes was created with a mission to build undying passion, across people of all genders, orientations, races and identities, for the beautiful game in Austin. This month, we celebrate Pride Month and honor the sacrifices that LGBTQ+ people have made in the fight for equality. We champion their work for the LGBTQ+ community and the soccer community at large.

Ways to Get Involved with Austin’s LGBTQ+ Community (*just a few of many!)

• Support Austin Black Pride’s virtual programs and initiative

• Get educated with allgo’s online events & digital wellness programs

• Pledge to fight hate alongside Equality Texas

• Volunteer & join the #TakeMyHandTexas movement with Out Youth

• Donate to the AIDS Services of Austin

• Volunteer with the Kind Clinic

• Help support social services initiatives from the Texas Transgender Health Coalition

• Tune in to the Austin LGBT Chamber’s Pride in Local Music event on June 26, supporting LGBTQ+ artists

• Join a local LGBTQ+ & LGBTQ-friendly sports league and grow the team of allies
